| JKNPP pays homage to Ram Jethmalani | | | | Jammu, Sept 8: Several hundreds of Advocates and others including political activists visited the residence of Ram Jethmalani and placed flowers while paying him good bye this day. Among those who presented flowers to the parting soul, Ram Jethmalani included Prof. Bhim Singh, NPP Supremo and Sr. Executive Member of SCBA, Venugopal, AG of India, Union Law Minister and hundreds of Advocates and others at his official residence, New Delhi. Prof. Bhim Singh described Ram Jethmalani as a Noble Voice who represented the suffering people irrespective of their nationality, religion or financial status before the Courts all his life. Prof. Bhim Singh called him Angel who supported him in all his cases, detentions in his fight for justice and rule of law particularly in the fight for Human Rights of suffering people in the jails from Kashmir to Kanyakumari and Delhi to Islamabad. Prof. Bhim Singh described him as a superb human being/politician/human right activist and said that it was Ram Jethmalani, Sr. Advocate, Human Right activist who gave an emotional reception to the Legislators/Political activists at his residence in 2007 when the political leaders and social activists had come to Delhi to attend Heart to Heart Conference organized by J&K leadership. |
