JAMMU, Sept 8: In continuation of its membership drive, Shivsena Bala Saheb Thackeray , Jammu & Kashmir unit, today formed its unit in Ward 8 of Jammu. Party state president Manish Sahni appointed youth leader Rajesh Handa as president if ward no 8 where as Sumit Khosla as general secretary, Vinod Kumar as deputy head and Jackson as ward secretary and Ajay Sharma as cashier. Sahni supported the demand of the residents of ward 8 residents to rename Rana Rajinder Singh Memorial Park, named after Kargil's hero Major Ajay Singh Jasrotia. Deputy Chief Surjit Singh and General Secretary Vikas Bakshi, present on the occasion welcomed the new members who joined the party including Babi Samyal, Vasu Sharma, Sanjay Gill, Himanshu and others. |
