Senior Congress leader among others join BJP

Jammu, Sept 9: Nearly hundred political and social activists including a senior leader of Congress, Usha Jamwal joined the BJP in the presence of Former Minister Bali Bhagat in an impressive function held at Ward no. 65 in Lower Barnai today. Bhagat said while welcoming the new entrants into the party fold the abrogation of Article 370 has strengthened people's faith in BJP which has proved that power is meant to serve the nation and the society.
"Today nation is moving fast in direction of development under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Current government has undertaken unprecedented measures for upliftment of poor through their various schemes like Ayushman Bharat, Ujwala Yojna, Pension scheme for labourers and many other such schemes. And above all these schemes have been implemented without any discrimination on basis of religion, region or caste," Bhagat said. "We are impressed by the policies of Narender Modi Government and the abrogation of Article 370 has compelled us to join the BJP" Usha Jamwal said. Prominent among others Who Joined BJP with Congress leader Usha Jamwal were Davinder Singh Jamwal,Bhanu Partap Singh,Rekha Charak, Anita Jamwal,Mala Sharma, Rohit Kumar, Darbar Singh, Hans Raj, Vijay Kumar, Anshuman,Jeevan Mehta, Preeti Mehra & Ravi Kumar. Ex- District President Jammu Rural (BJP) SukhDev Singh Jamwal, Block President Raipur-Domana Ved Parkash Sharma,Romesh Singh, Babu Ram Bhagat, Rakesh Singh Bhalwal & Kamla Devi were also present on the occasion.
