Jammu, Sept 9: Divisional Commissioner, Sanjeev Verma, today reviewed plan for development of Transport Nagar here at a meeting with the concerned officers.
It was informed in the meeting that all the concerned departments have prepared DPR for various development works required to be executed for development of Transport Nagar like construction and maintenance of Nullahs, roads, lanes and drains, green spaces, shelters, Bank Branch, toilet complex, Rehri zone, Food Courts, Health centre and other facilities.
The Div Com asked the concerned officers to ensure inter department co ordination and relook the DPRs prepared to make these more effective.
He asked JMC to depute Safai Karamcharies in the area and initiate sanitation work there. He also asked for installation of dustbins, containers in the area.
The Div Com, while taking stock of other development works being executed in Jammu city by UEED, asked the officers to expedite the ongoing works ensuring that these vital utilities are raised within the prescribed time. He also asked them to submit progress reports regarding the status of works done on regular basis for proper monitoring.
The meeting was attended by Secretary JDA, Rakesh Gupta, RTO Jammu, Dhananter Singh, senior functionaries of UEED, PWD, PDD, PHE, JMC and other concerned departments. |
