9/9/2019 11:10:16 PM

Early Times Report

Srinagar, Sept 9: In a menace to current peace, new posters have been put up by the terrorist outfit across the valley threatening residents to observe a complete shutdown in protest of the Centre's decision to abrogate Article 370.
While as terror outfit Al Badar has put up posters in the Ganderbal and Srinagar in last few days, asking people to stay inside. Centre has abrogated the Article 370 and 35A on August 5, which used to provide special status to the residents of Jammu and Kashmir, including separate flag and constitution.
In the posters, Al Badr has threatened those who keep their shops or businesses open beyond 8.30 am with dire consequences. The terror group has also targeted the police in its threat posters. Al Badar has asked people to socially boycott families of police personnel.
Al Badar's posters are the latest in a list of warnings issued by terror groups to the people of Jammu and Srinagar. Earlier, terrorist outfit Hizbul Mujahideen had warned apple growers of Kashmir not to send their produce to Indian markets, threatening them with dire consequences.
Petrol pump owners were also asked to close their outlets and were threatened with blasts if they violated the order. The terror warning came through posters and pamphlets in Shopian, signed by Hizbul commander Naveed Babu alias Babar Azam. The poster asked all shopkeepers to keep their business activities shut. Violators will have to pay a heavy penalty, the poster said.
Similar threats have been issued to educational institutions - schools, colleges, universities, asking them not to open. While in Ganderbal, the terror threats reads that no one should open the shops, there must be no traffic movement and only ambulances should be allowed to move on the road.
