JAMMU, Sept 9: With investigation into recruitment scam is the J&K Bank is going on, there are reports that close relatives of PDP leaders were appointed in the Bank without following any procedure. These relatives of PDP leaders were appointed without inviting applications from them and they were appointed through backdoors.
Credible sources revealed that most of the relatives of PDP leaders were handed over appointment letters without applications, written tests or interviews. Sources said that appointment letters were directly handed over to the relatives of PDP leaders and they were asked to join duties at their places of postings.
Credible sources said that these backdoor appointed employees of J&K Bank were posted outside the State to befool the people. These employees, sources said, were appointed in the far-flung areas outside J&K so that deserving educated youth-both from Jammu and Kashmir, would not get any information about these backdoor appointments.
Credible sources said that investigating agencies have been going through the data to ascertain exact number of relatives of PDP leaders who were appointed by violating all rules and norms at the cost of the deserving youth.
Credible sources said that record seized by investigation agency has established that some top PDP leaders had issued their DO letters to the then Bank administration to appoint some people in the bank without any interview or written tests.
