| "UTTA urge Governor to Inaugurate Indoor Sports Complex Udhampur" | | | Early Times Report
Udhampur, Sept 10: Indoor Sports Complex Udhampur stills awaits for inauguration, Much hyped project finally completed after lapse of 5 yrs. This was stated by General secretary, UTTA- Udhampur Table Tennis Association Tarun. He said that above said project missed several deadlines of completion & finally completed after lapse of 5 yrs but still awaits for inauguration, he added
In a handout issued today by Udhampur Table Tennis association, Tarun said that due to long delay in inauguration, Sports Players are forced to quit their favourite game & even do not participate in tournaments. He said that players have brought laurel for state in nationals many times but delay in inauguration of project is demoralizing our young talent.
Further, he informed that two three times inauguration ceremony was postponed due to some reasons for which players are paying by quitting their game. sports is completely paralysed in Udhampur due to non availability of Infrastructure.
Tarun informed that on 13th September Advisor to Governor Sh Farooq Khan will be visiting at Udhampur for inauguration of sports tournament, he appeals to Advisor Farooq Khan to inaugurate Indoor Sports Complex Udhampur on the same day.
UTTA- Udhampur Table Tennis Association also urged Hon'ble Governor Shree Satyapal Malik to inaugurate the indoor sports complex Udhampur at earliest so that our youngsters can take sigh of relief. |
