Sat tours Wards 24, 29; takes stock of people's grievances

Jammu, Sept 10: Former Minister & Ex-MLA Jammu West, Sat Sharma (CA) conducted an extensive tour of Wards 24 and 29 including Green Enclave area of Rehari Colony and Rajpura where he interacted with hundreds of residents during his tour.
He was also accompanied by a large number of people including officials of PHE, UEED and many others including inhabitants of the wards.
Sharma also took stock of basic amenities in both wards. Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that he was apprised of the problems faced by locals in the area including irregular water supply, changing of water pipes in some areas and covering of deep drains in Ward 24 for which officials from concerned departments were called on the spot for early redressal.
Sharma assured public that the work will be taken up to resolve the issue in a time bound manner to benefit the locals at the earliest. Sharma also stated that Jammu West has been developed to its fullest and pending works will also be taken in some time to avoid public distress.
The pace of development in Jammu West shows that constituency progressed a lot in last 5 years and has reached to the mark of a Model Constituency, he added.
