Jammu, Sept 11: Students of Delhi Public School, Jammu brought laurels to the school and their parents by excelling in Inter-DPS Badminton Tournament for Girls (Open) organized by The Delhi Public School Society, New Delhi held at DPS Jaipur from 29-30 August, 2019.
Total 36 teams from all over India participated in the said tournament in which DPS Jammu defeated DPS Bangalore North and reached to the Quarter Finals. The team comprised of Shreya Gupta (VI-B), Shambhavi Rajput (VI-K) and Krishika Mahajan (VIII-F).
Shambhavi Rajput was also awarded with 'The Most Promising Player of the Tournament' title in the tournament.
Principal, DPS Jammu, Ruchi Chabra congratulated all the participants and their coach, Preeti Gupta. Headmistress, Meenu Gupta also applauded them. |
