Reasi, Sept 11: District Development Commissioner, Indu Kanwal Chib today held a meeting regarding media related activities during Navratra Festival, 2019.
Deputy Director, Regional Outreach Bureau Jammu, District Information Officer, Imran Kataria and members of media fraternity highlighted several strategies to give wide publicity to the world famous festival.
The DDC asked media-fraternity to project the festival in major media outlets of the state as well as the country to further attract enhanced tourist influx to the region.
The District Information Office assured timely advertising and publicity of the festival.
It was also proposed that Programme Head, Radio Kashmir Jammu would provide wide coverage to the festival through the medium of radio by conducting interviews of artists and officers involved in organising the festival. Besides, day-to-day events of the festival would also be reported.
Deputy Director, Regional Outreach Bureau briefed the DDC about various activities to be conducted during the festival including Mata ki Kahani, Bhagwat Katha, Prabhat Pheris, Shobha Yatra. |
