Two absconders arrested after two years | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Sept 11: Katra Police arrested 2 drug peddlers, evading their arrest since registration of FIR, last two years. According to police sources, both were involved in a case FIR no. 31/2017 under section 8/20 NDPS Act and evading their arrest in which 4 kg charas already recovered and that time they had managed to escape from the spot. Katra Police laid a special Naka at Panthal and during checking arrested 2 drug peddlers namely Shankar Chand son of Sansar Chand Bagdar Reasi and Vijay Kumar son of Tej Ram resident of Thathakot Tehsil Mongri District Udhampur in case FIR No. 31/2017 under section 8/20 NDPS Act was already registered at Police Station Katra in which 4 Kgm Charas was recovered along with vehicle IKON bearing registration JK02R 2577 was also seized at Moori. Both the accused persons have managed to escape from the spot and evading their arrest since registration of FIR. The arrest has been made by SHO PS Katra Inspector Pardeep Gupta assisted by SI Sanjeet Sharma ICPP Kakryal under the supervision of SDPO Katra Vivek Shekhar -KPS, close supervision of ASP Katra Naresh Singh, KPS and SSP Reasi Rashmi Wazir, KPS. |
