SRINAGAR, Sept 12 : ADGP Armed J&K SJM Gillani today visited the Armed Police Complex Parihaspora where he inaugurated various facilities and reviewed welfare schemes for officers and jawans.
The ADGP inaugurated the modular kitchen of IRP-20th Battalion, CO's office and Recreation hall of IRP-3rd Battalion. He also inspected three bedded MI room constructed by IRP-20th Bn. for the welfare of the officers of all the units stationed at APC Parihaspora and mini workshop of the said unit.
IGP AP/ IR Kmr, Vijay Kumar, SSP APCR Kmr, Shabir Nawab, SSP, CO-IRP- 9th Bn, Mohammad Zaid, SSP, CO - IRP- 3rd Bn, Medical Superinten-dent Police, Dr Bilal A Raja besides other concerned were present on the occasion.
The ADGP held a darbar with the officers of all units in which various issues pertaining to the welfare of the department were raised. He gave a patient hearing to the issues raised by the officers of all the battalions.
He appreciated the role of Armed Police in maintaining law and order especially during prevailing circumstances in the valley. He stressed upon them to promote Police Public relations and discipline among them.
The ADGP highlighted the welfare measures being taken by the department towards its officers and jawans. He also took stock of all the developmental works and welfare measures taken for the officers and jawans of all units stationed at APC Parihaspora. |
