Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 12: Bharatiya Janata Party Mahila Morcha National President Vijaya Rahatkar will be addressing a massive gathering of women at Jammu on September 15 'Mahila Swabhimaan Rally'.
This was informed by BJP Mahila Morcha State President Rajni Sethi, while chairing a meeting of Jammu District Mahila Morcha team, along with State General Secretary Shailja Gupta, District Prabhari Sunita Gupta, District President Rekha Mahajan, District General Secretaries Savita Anand and Sangita Anand at Kachi Chawni Office.
While speaking in the meeting, Rajni Sethi said that the BJP government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taken revolutionary decisions and steps for the welfare, security and empowerment of the women, irrespective of their faith and the historic decision on Tripple Talaq has sent a wave of joy among our Muslim sisters.
Rajni Sethi said that doing away with the practice of Tripple Talaq will induce a sense of security and safety among Muslim women and help them to lead dignified life. To highlight the importance of the decision on Tripple Talaq, the Mahila Morcha National President will be coming to Jammu to address the women gathering, she said.
Rajni Sethi further said that the National President Vijaya Rahatkar will also address gathering in Akhnoor next day on Article 370 to explain the benefits of repealing this provision, particularly what would the women gain after its removal.
Mahila Morcha District President Rekha Mahajan, on this occasion, asked her team to devote more time to mobilize the women to come and attend the scheduled Mahila Swabhimaan Rally at City Farm, Kunjwani, on September 15.
