Jammu, Sept 12: Two teachers of Army Public School BD Bari, Satish Kumar Pandita , Sr TGT and Renu Malpotra, PGT were conferred with the most prestigious National Teachers' Award at Rockstar Teachers' conclave held recently at India International Centre, Delhi by CED Foundation Trust-the forum which empowers educators.
Out of the total 1066 nominations, 122 inspirational teachers across the country were awarded with CED National Teachers' Award for their outstanding commitment to change the lives of the children they teach. The recipients from this school were felicitated with the National Creative Teachers' Award-2019 for innovative, inspirational and effective Leadership, inventiveness to amplify students' performance, promote safe and secure learning environments and improving the lives of the pupil. The award was presented to them by Sharad Yadav, (former Cabinet Minister), L.N Chaturvedi (former Governor of Karnatka and Kerala), Dr Dev Swaroop (Additional Secretary UGC), Bhawna Gaur (MLA Palam Constituency, Delhi). AK Bisoi, Cardiac Surgeon, AIIMS, Dr Kiran Seth (Padamshree Awardee) and many other renowned dignitaries were also present on the occasion.
