Jammu, Sept 12: Jammu Tawi Andolan (JTA) has appealed the Governor administration to restore uninterrupted electric supply to the people of Jammu.
"In view of scorching heat and weak mansoon the pople of are facing more than punishmment like suffering for no fault of them. Inspite of making payment of electricity charges people are not being provided power. Terming it as violation of civil human rights at large," Chander Mohan Sharma said this while addressing a meeting of core group of Tawi Andolan here.
Some of the reason for this injustice the people by the state administration is slackness on the part of PDD. Mega transformer was to be replaced at Gladini station.
Others who attended the meeting includes working president Prof. B.L.Bhardwaj, Vice President Bhalwinder Singh Bhatia,General Secretary Kulwant Singh, Romesh Sharma, Veena Bakshi, Rama Sharma, Mohni Sharma, Ajay Kumar, Ravi Kumar, Shush pal Singh, Shiv charan Dass Sharma and Rajesh Bhadgota and others unscheduled power cuts have made the lives of people as hell.
