Sat inaugurates Kaushal Vikas Mela, distributes PMKVY certificates

Jammu, Sept 14: Supertech (india) Computer Education conducted Aajeevika evam Kaushal Vikas Mela and Certificate Distribution Function at Talab Tillo, Jammu.
As part of mass mobilization for PMKVY, Skill Development Programs launched by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, Kaushal Mela and certificate distribution ceremony was conducted for the awareness of the students and public at large.
Former Minister Sat Sharma (CA) was the chief guest on the occasion. The objective of Skill Certi?cation Scheme is to enable a large number of youth to take up industry-relevant skill training that will help them in securing a better livelihood.
Over 200 candidates mostly women participated in the Aajeevika evam Kaushal Mela and certificate distribution ceremony.
Speaking on the occasion, Sharma lauded the vision of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi to give special focus to motivate the women, youth and their families, and create an atmosphere of enthusiasm.He noted that women candidates coming out in such large numbers in today's Aajeevika evam Kaushal Mela and certificate distribution ceremony is an indication of changing social norms. While interacting with the participants he advised them to learn new skills and said that "India needs you and your skills. You are the power that will make India strong, you are the people for whom the Prime Minister dreams big," he added.
He also said," Government wanted to make youth to realize their power and it is spending liberally in this direction. Kaushal Mela is beginning of a new chapter of mass mobilization, he added. He also stated that Supertech (India) Computer Education, as a responsible training partner in the nation-building initiative of skilling India while appreciating those candidates, who after completing the respective skill course turned into a successful entrepreneur.
Veena Gupta, Jaideep Sambyal, Adv Rajesh Gupta, Vinod Wazir, Deepak Kumar, Kusam Gupta, Tarsem Gupta, Geeta Rakwal and other Members from SOS and other dignitaries were also present on the occasion.
