Jammu, Sept 14: Spike barriers have been installed at the entry gate of Jammu Airport to prevent unauthorised entry of vehicles in the premises of highly sensitive Jammu Airport.
According to sources the spike barriers would help to the security agencies to prevent entry of unauthorised persons in the airport premise. "The installation work completed today, entry of vehicles remained affected for last three days", said a senior security officer, adding that though the airport is being carefully guarded by the alerted personnel of CRPF and State Police, but it would be helpful for various reasons.
"Hopefully, the entry of private vehicles in airport will be restored by tomorrow and all the allied works have been finished", the officer said. |
