It was pointed out that the hotels in Jammu are dependent on business of corporate travelers and with the expected new investments, the hotel sector which has been undergoing extreme difficulties for the last two months is looking forward to a new dawn. Raju Chowdhary pointed out that last year for the first time Hotels which are a thrust industry in J&K were granted power at the rate of industrial tariff. But unfortunately this power tariff was withdrawn from 1st of April and again commercial power tariff is being charged.
