Jammu, Sept 9: As sequel to Nagrota Police's drive against drug peddlars seven more persons have been arrested by police and total number of arrested persons has reached 16. According to sources, in first FIR registered on September 8, nine people were arrested alongwith heroin, cash and luxurious cars including an Range Rover. "Following this two more FIRs have been registered and seven more people have been arrested by the Police, during these two FIRs 2 Innova Cars, two bike, 22 grams heroin and electronic gadgets used for weighing of drugs have been arrested", said a Police officer, wishing not to be named. He said that the date on the basis of arrested people is being gathered and same would be share with concerned Police station to further tighten the nose of those involved in this heinous crime. "The data will be share through DPOs with concerned Police Stations of arrested people and whose name surfaced during our investigation, it will very helpful to curb the menace of drug and save our youths", he officer said. |
