BJP organizes various programmes to observe "Sewa Saptah"

Jammu, Sept 14: Bharatiya Janata Party, Jammu & Kashmir organized various programmes to observe "Sewa Saptah" or service week, which is being observed from 14th of September to 20th of September. The chain of events are being observed by BJP at PAN National level to highlight the service qualities, importance of Nature and philanthropist approach on the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 17th September. BJP State General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Kaul, in this connection, paid visit to the Bal Ashram and Nari Niketan for the observance of "Sewa Saptah". There, he donated Washing Machine and Ceiling Fan to meet the needs of the "Special Homes".
He also distributed fruits and books amongst the children present in the homes. He said that on this day we all must pledge to run the awareness campaign to devote our time for serving the needy. He asked all to have kind approach towards the fellow human beings and Mother Nature.
He also said that our activities are damaging the mother Earth, so in near future we must take measures to avoid maximum use of plastic so that the health of planet could improve.
He also prompted all to contribute in cleaner and greener Earth. An awareness campaign with regard to "No single use of Plastic" was organized at W.No. 1 in Mubarak Mandi by Deputy Mayor Adv. Purnima Sharma.
Programme was chaired by BJP State Vice-President & Incharge "Sewa Saptah" Kr. Rajeev Charak accompanied by MLC Ashok Khajuria, District President Baldev Singh Billawaria, Membership Incharge Jugal Dogra and other senior BJP leaders.
