ASKPC pays floral tributes to martyrs on Balidan Divas

JAMMU, Sept 14: All State Kashmiri Pandit Conference (ASKPC) paid respectfully homage and floral tributes to all martyrs on the Balidan Divas who gave their selfless sacrifices from 1931 to the times leading to ethnic cleansing of community members of 1990.
Large number of people from our community attended and paid Shradaanjali and floral tributes to the martyrs. The prominent personality among them were Adv. Kashmiri Lal (PNBMT) Shiban Khabri (Journalist). Bharat Bushan Bhat President Zeastha Devi, Prof Verinder Rawal (Patron Vyeth), ML Bhat, General Secretary (MNAD), SL Koul, T.N.Koul, President Jagti, Kuldeep Raina, President Samajik Vikas Sanstha, T.K.Jigaysu, Pran Pandita Social Activist, P.L.Shangroo Social Activist.
President ASKPC Adv. Ravinder Raina conveyed sentiments of the community to the dynamic leadership on the bold step for correcting the Historical blunders committed in the past. However at the same time request the Govt. that steps should be taken to mitigate the problems of the community as the community is the worst victims.
He said ASKPC being the premier and frontal organization of the community, which is representing all the displaced Kashmir Pandits across the globe hence the organization demands that the return and rehabilitation policy should be framed only after taking us into confidence.
Shuban Khebri said that the Kashmiri Pandits are the worst victims of exodus ethnic cleansing and genocide and the persons responsible for our killings should be brought to book and Govt. should frame SIT to investigate the reason and cause of exodus.
Dr T.K.Bhat General Secretary ASKPC hailing the Government for scraping of Article 370 and 35 A and said as the J&K has been converted into Union Territory , the new Administrative and political arrangements has to come in force.
