| Jammu Sanskriti School holds interactive session | | |  Early Times Report
Kathua, Sept 14: An enlightening interactive session was organized by Jammu Sanskriti School Kathua with Sr. Gurnam Singh (National Award Winner for Teaching) for the teaching fraternity and students of classes 10th and 11th.
Gurnam Singh National Award Winner for teaching is an Upper Primary Teacher at the Govt. Upper Primary School, Lahari, Barnoti in Kathua district. Jammu Sanskriti School Kathua hosted this interactive session with an inspiring mentor like Gurnam Singh so as to understand his journey to his pinnacle of success. The session commenced with a special greeting card and Bamboo shoot being presented to Gurnam Singh ji by the students of Jammu Sanskriti School Kathua followed by lightening of lamp. Mili R. Sumbria Principal JSS Kathua extended a special welcome to this eminent stalwart a National Awardee. She said in her speech that it is a proud privilege to felicitate a Noble laureate like him. In his guest lecture he highlighted his experiences as a teacher and shared several instances where he has selflessly worked for the betterment of children. He spoke with conviction that he has been a teacher by choice and not by chance. He has always considered teaching as a passion. Also he laid extra emphasis on reading good books and instilling punctuality as a habit. A memento of appreciation was presented to him by Mr Harpreet Singh Anand,Chairman of Jammu Sanskriti Schools who had a keen intent and the vision to felicitate Shri Gurnam Singh Ji for his exemplary achievement |
