Jammu, Sept 14: Two teachers of Doon International School Jammu received the prestigious National Teacher's Excellence Award 2019 organised by Centre for Educational Development (CED) recently held at the India International Centre New Delhi. The teachers awarded were Rachana Mehra Khanna (Chief-Coordinator) and Anubha Saini(TGT Math & Documentation Incharge) among 120 teachers from all over India who were felicitated by former Cabinet Minister Sharad Yadav, former Governor of Karnataka and Kerala Mr L. N. Chaturvedi and Dr Dev Swaroop Additional Secretary UGC. The other dignitaries present on the occasion were Padmashri Dr Kiran Seth, A. k. Bisoi (Cardiac Surgeon, AIMS), Academic Evangeliast, Dr Dheeraj Malhotra and Bhavna Gaur (MLA, Palam Constituency Delhi). The Chairman Mr G. N. Tantray and Principal Dr Vikesh Kaur congratulated both of them for this incredible achievement and appreciated their fructuous contribution to the institution and wished them great success in future keeping the noble cause of education as prime priority. |
