MENDHAR, Sept 15: Several villages of Gultha area of Mendhar are without water supply as the concerned pumping station is lying defunct for the last one week. The villagers alleged that motor of Gultha Pumping Station went out of order a week back. With this, the water supply to several adjoining villages and hamlets has been affected. The matter was also brought to the notice of PHE staff at Mendhar Sub Division, but they claimed that fault pertained to PHE Mechanical wing Poonch. The villagers urged upon the higher authorities at Poonch to ensure water supply to the area. |
