GPC organizes 'Training cum Placement Programme'

Jammu, Sept 15: A training cum placement programme was organized in Government Polytechnic, Bikram Chowk, Jammu in association with Rooman Technologies Pvt. Ltd. under Skill Development Project (DDUGKY-Himayat) for the candidates of Polytechnics having three year diploma in Engineering .
The programme was inaugurated by Principal Er. Arun Bangotra who encouraged all the aspiring passed out students for their most significant phase of their journey. He laid stress upon the various challenges a student faces in seeking job and also encouraged them to convert the said challenges into fruitful opportunities by continuous hard work and dedication. Jatinder Kour of Rooman technology Pvt. Ltd., Center head Jammu, Balbir Singh Placement Coordinator and other team members interacted with the candidates and discussed in detail about the placement after successful completion of training. A total of 48 candidates appeared and finally 35 were selected for training cum placement. The selected candidates shall be provided free training, stationery, boarding and lodging including mess in their residential training center at Noida. The programme was organised by training and Placement cell of Govt. Polytechnic, Jammu. Rajesh Khajuria, Training and Placement Officer thanked M/S Rooman Technologies Pvt. Ltd. for providing the job opportunity to the Polytechnic passed out students.
