9/15/2019 10:00:11 PM
Early Times Report

Jammu, Sept 15: BJP State President Anusuchit Jaati Morcha (SC Morcha), Jagdish Bhagat alleged that the existing socio-economic survey which was conducted in 2011, was full of deceit and conducted with malafide intentions to provide benefits of central government sponsored schemes to the blue-eyed persons.
Bhagat, raised demand for fresh socio-economic survey and said that it is must for improving living conditions of members of SC community who are still living in the sub standard conditions, while he was addressing a meeting at party headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
Jagdish Bhagat, at the very onset of the meeting, hailed the bold decision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah to abrogate the notorious Articles 370 and 35(a). He said that the people belonging to SC community living in J&K bore the brunt of above-said Articles for decades together resulting in the halt of desired progress by the community members over the decades. He blamed the Congress, NC, PDP and other valley based parties for the continued mischief leading to the continued neglect of the community.
Bhagat, was quick in his remarks that the fresh socio-economic survey must be made in the region. He alleged that the previous survey was done with the malafide intentions, keeping at bay all the laws of land. He said that a fresh Socio-economic Survey will ensure that the deserving but still neglected community members could receive the benefits of all the Schemes initiated by PM Modi. He also demanded that the political reservation in J&K needs to be implemental in accordance with the population of the SC in the newly created UT and reservation in Legislative Assembly may be enhanced as per the population living in the state.
