Monthly literary meet held

Jammu, Sept 15: Punjabi Sahitik Sabha, R S Pura held its monthly literary meeting at Prem Resorts, Simbal Morh, Dheende Kalan. Well known writers, poets of Punjabi and intellectuals attended the meeting. S. Bachan Bharti and S. Bhupinder Singh Raina were the chief guests where as S. Gurmeet Singh was the guest of honour on this occasion. Scholar Rajveer Singh presented his research paper on the topic of 'Harnam Singh Dukhiya Di Kahani Laalchi Pita Di Sharamnak Kartoot, Dharam Saputri Di Vithiya Te Nateeza'. A detailed discussion was held on the paper. A Kavi Darbar was conducted in which Subhash Chander, J P Singh Azad, Balwinder Singh Deep, Balwinder Singh Jammu, Bhupinder Bhargav, Swami Antar Nirav, Bachan Bharti, Devinder Singh Vishavnagrik, Suraj Ratan, Amar Singh Kuka, Jang S. Verman, Dr. Baljit Raina, Mohan Singh Nirala, Rajpaul Singh Mastana, Bhupinder Singh Raina and others recited their poetry on various subjects reflecting the picture of the society and relationships. In their address S. Bachan Bharti, Bhupinder Raina and Gurmeet Singh appreciated the working of Punjabi Sahitik Sabha, R S Pura and quality of the poetry presented in the programme. The proceedings of the programme were conducted by Swami Antar Nirav, former President of Punjabi Sahitik Sabha, R S Pura, who earlier welcomed the dignitaries, writers and poets. Vote of thanks was extended by Balwinder Singh Deep.
