BJP Jammu District organizes 'Sewa Saptah' campaign

Jammu, Sept 15: BJP Jammu District today started "Sewa Saptah campaign" which is celebrated nationwide by BJP to mark respect to Prime Minister Modi on his 69th birthday falling on September 17. The week long campaign which commenced today shall be ending on September 20. On the occasion, Member Parliament from Jammu-Poonch Loksabha, Jugal Kishore, Former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta, MLC Vikram Randhawa and BJP District Jammu President, Baldev Billawria were present and addressed the BJP workers and differently abled persons.
On the occasion, Jugal Kishore Sharma, said that since Prime Minister Modi had dedicated his life to serve the country, economically backward sections of the society, so acknowledge his services BJP is observing his birthday by taking part in various activities aimed at serving the society, be it planting trees, undertaking cleanliness drive or working to make the country single-use plastic free. Referring to the differently abled persons present on the occasion, Sharma asked District Team Jammu to make complete list of all such persons with the details of disability so that funds can be arranged from Union Government for services to such persons.
Kavinder Gupta in his address said, PM Modi has proven himself to be best Social activist and a visionary leader across Globe for which he has been conferred by various awards by different countries, but we the citizens of India can honour his services simply by helping the people who, economically are not that much sound by paying their monthly medicine bills, arranging for hearing aids, eye operations, Knee replacement operations, provision of scooters/wheel chairs to the differently abled, arranging camps for uncovered population under various schemes launched by Prime Minister Modi.
