AAC meeting held, discusses various development works 9/16/2019 10:02:54 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Sept 16: Airport Advisory Committee meeting was held at Jammu Airport under the Chairmanship of Jugal Kishore Sharma, M.P. The meeting was convened by Dr. P. R. Beuria, Airport Director, Jammu. Kavinder Gupta Ex-MLA, Vikram Randhawa Ex MLC and other representatives, officials from Indian Air Force, district Administration, State Police, Airport Anti Hijacking, CRPF were present. Dr. P. R. Beuria, gave presentation on Jammu Airport and apprised the members about traffic position, various development works and issues related to Jammu Airport. Threadbare discussions were made by members on the issues related to car parking, land for new airport at Belicharana. In addition issues of passenger inconvenience at entry and exit points of airport, traffic congestion from Satwari Chowk to Airport, presence of Masjid in operational area etc. were also discussed. After listening to the members M.P. issued deliberations and requested all members to come together to sort out the issue, since development work of airport is the primary objective.
