JAMMU, Sept 16: Police claimed to have arrested a female supplier and recovered 1.5 kilograms Ganja from her possession under the jurisdiction of the Kana Chak Police Station.
According to Police sources, there was information that the female drug supplier was active in the area and selling intoxicant to the addicts of the area. The Police team led by Station House Officer (SHO) inspector Ravi Singh and under the supervision of SDPO Domana, has been tracing the supplier for last ten days.
Police sources added that she was caught by the Police party when she was about to sell the intoxicant to the addicts. She has been identified as Phool Devi wife of Jagan Lal Sahu resident of Sarvani, Rajgarh, Chhatisgarh.
In this connection, a case FIR 137/2019 under section 8/20 NDPS Act has been registered in Police Station Kana Chak. The investigation of the case is in progress and more arrests are expected.
SDPO, Domana Hira Lal Pandita said that the police the department was taking strict against the drug peddlers and today arrested an interstate female drug supplier and more arrests were expected as police were working on it. |
