DPS Jammu organizes Hindi Recitation Competition

Jammu, Sept 17: Delhi Public School, Jammu organized a Hindi Poem Recitation Competition for the students of class II. The competition was organized to celebrate the birth anniversary of Dr. S. Radhakrishnan. The aim of the competition was to provide a platform for the students to showcase their talent and to enhance their self-confidence. A total of 36 students participated in the competition. The first prize was bagged by Aarna Kohli (II-A) and Pariyat Seth (II-D) while Seerat Chauhan (II-G) and Saimoon Anjum Mir (C) stood second. The third prize was shared by Vidyanshi Bosh (II-H) and Yashica Gupta (II-B). Consolation prizes were also received by Jayaansh Radhotra (II-D) and Safal Pranjal (II-D). The competition was adjudged by Shelja Sharma and Ritu Vir. Principal, DPS Jammu, Ruchi Chabra congratulated the winners and participants. She also appreciated the efforts of teachers for preparing the students for this competition. Headmistress, Meenu Gupta also lauded them.
