Six drug peddlers arrested, 2 medical shops sealed, 13 kg Bukki recovered

JAMMU, Sept 17: Police claimed to have recovered 13kg Bukki, arrested six drug peddlers, 1370 capsule of banned drugs recovered and sealed two medical shops on Tuesday.
According to police sources, yesterday Police party Jajjar Kotli arrested two persons with bukki and on their disclosure police party raided different locations and arrested more persons who were involved in selling intoxicants substances to the addicts.
A thorough analysis of evidence helped police to collect information of drug peddlers who were selling poison among the youth, the police arrested four more accused persons with bukki and banned capsules. During the course of the investigation, they accused persons revealed that from where they were buying banned capsules following with the help of a concerned authority, two medical shops M/s Bikram medicos at Dansal and M/s Rajat pharmaceutical at Karan Nagar sealed and a case has been registered.
SDPO Nagrota Mohan Lal said that after thorough questioning, the Police team finally succeeded in making a break-through and were able to nab a group of organized drugs peddlers from various parts of the area.
The arrested persons have been identified as Anil Kumar resident of Kakryal, Katra, Sudesh Kumar alias Shotu resident of Moori, Katra, Mushtaq Ahmed resident of Badola, Jhajjar Kotli, Bikramjeet Singh resident of Bhaderwah at present, Dansal, Karan Kumar alias Bablu, resident of Patyari, Akhnoor, and Ramesh Singh alias Rajat resident of Palora and one motorbike and one scooty were seized by Police.
In this connection, a case Fir no.118/2019 under section 8/15/21/22/27-A/29 NDPS Act was registered in Police Station jajjar Kotli.
