150 Gujarat families pay obeisance at Vaishno Devi to mark PM's birthday

Jammu, Sept 17: Over 150 families from Gujarat travelled to Katra and paid obeisance at cave shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi to mark birthday celebrations of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. These families, led by Ajay Modi from Gujarat, travelled all the way to Katra only to offer their prayers to mark the day which they believe is very auspicious and important for India as it marks the birth day of Narendra Modi.
Former Deputy Chief Minister of J&K, Kavinder Gupta, and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) State Executive Member, Raman Suri, were special invitees at Katra where the guests/devotees recited bhajan and kirtan and later performed Gujarati traditional dance of Garba. They also distributed sweets amongst the needy and prayed for long life of Narendra Modi. Earlier they took out a procession holding Tricolour and raising slogans for long life of Narendra Modi in Katra. Speaking on the occassion Kavinder Gupta welcomed the pilgrims to Jammu and Kashmir and said that their arrival to celebrate the birthday of Narendra Modi here in Katra is a great gesture. Raman Suri in his speech appreciated the spirit of people and said that such a staunch support is the reason behind abrogation of Article 370.
