KATHUA, Sept 17: Mount Litera Zee school, kathua celebrated "GRANDPARENT'S DAY" with fun and frolic. Grandparents are our heritage and our essential members of our families and communities. They are the link between the present and the near past. It is through them the national heritage and traditions are handed over to the next generation.
The function started with welcoming the Grandparent's by Monika Jasrotia co-ordinator Kinder Garten MLZS followed by lightning of lamp by Prof. Swaroop Chander, Anu Dogra along with Regional director Mount Litera Zee School Jaswinder Sethi and Principal of School Barinder Jyot Kour
The grandparents were very happy and overwhelmed to see their grandchildren performing colourful dances and Poetic performances for them. Grandparents also joined and enjoyed performing on various organized items such as Ramp walk, Song and Dance Items, Tongue twisters and Games. Prizes were distributed among winners by the guest of honour Dr. Y.N Dogra. Vote of thanks were presented by Mansi Dua Co-ordinator of MLZS. |
