BJYM activists donate blood on PM's birthday

Jammu, Sept 17: On the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's birthday and as a part of ongoing "Seva Saptah" program launched by BJP at All India level, BJYM (Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha) activists organized a blood donation camp at Canal Road, Talab Tillo. MP Rajya Sabha Shamsher Singh Manhas was the chief guest in the program whereas the program was organized by State Vice President BJYM Karan Sat Sharma.
Dozens of donors donated blood on the occasion and dedicated Prime Minister's birthday to serving the masses.
Speaking on the occasion, Shamsher Singh appreciated the efforts of youngsters and encouraged the donors by telling that blood donation is not a small donation, it is a very big donation. It could save someone's precious life, Could light a family's lamp, and could give happiness to a family, he added. He also said that it is a matter of pride for the BJYM activists for this great work and the cooperation of the Medical and Red Cross Staff. He also stated that youngsters have chosen a very auspicious day to donate blood when it's Prime Minister's birthday which also sends a good message across nation to all the youngsters as well. Karan thanked the Chief Guest for sparing his valuable time and inaugurating the blood donation camp. He also said that young blood will keep working for the welfare of public and such camps will be organized in routine to provide assistance to Hospitals across Jammu as well.
Secretary Red Cross Dinesh Gupta, Dr Anshu , District General Secretary Munish Khajuria, Urvashi Gupta, Atul Sharma, Ravi kant Sharma, Tarun Sharma, Deepak Kumar, Rajesh Saini, Arun Dubey, Arpan Baigra, Bablu Chand, Sumanyu Gupta, Asha Sharma, Varinder Thakur, Ramesh Kumar and several others were also present.
