REASI SEPTEMBER 18: Deputy Commissioner, Indu Kanwal Chib today took stock of developmental works at Shiv Khori Shrine and Ransoo town, here at a meeting.
The meeting reviewed the development of Ransoo town and the route to the holy shrine.
Major issues discussed at the meeting included construction of overhead shed at Shiv Khori, erection of railing enroute the shrine and construction of sale counters between Reasi and Ransoo towns and development of parking at new bus stand.
The DC called for speedy completion of pending works, while reviewing the expenditure by executing agencies.
She asked the concerned to keep strict vigil on illegal construction in the Ransoo Township, while asserting that no new construction is allowed in the area without seeking permission from the Chief Town Planner.
Additional Deputy Commissioner, Rajinder Sharma, Tehsildar Pouni, Lekhraj, Tehsildar Katra, Sunil Sharma; Executive Engineer PWD, R.K Kapahi and Executive Engineer PHE, Bodh Raj besides other concerned attended the meeting.
