RAJOURI SEPTEMBER 18: District Administration Rajouri has provided Rs 9.47 Lakh as compensation for damages to property due to natural calamities like flash floods, landslides, etc during the year 2019-20.
District Development Commissioner Mohammad Aijaz Asad sanctioned the funds in favour of 10 cases of damages to houses, cattle sheds and other structures in the year 2019-20.
The DDC said that reaching out to the families affected by natural calamities is first priority of district administration. He said field functionaries have been directed to submit the loss assessment soon after reports of damages due to natural calamity is received.
