Early Times Report

Poonch, Sept 19: Municipal Council Poonch has been caught on wrong foot as it has allotted various developmental works without tenders to their blue eyed contactors.
Sources told Early Times that there are number of serious violations have been made by the Munipal Council Poonch in allotment of development works without tenders which shows gross mismanagement made by the authority concerned.
"Many lane works have been completed without tenders within the jurisdiction of Municipal Council Poonch particularly in ward no. 1, 2 etc. At some places multi storey buildings have been raised without permission. Contractors, who were allotted works have grossly violated the norms of MC in execution of works," said sources.
The locals of MC Poonch have appealed to the State Administration for conducting vigilance inquiry in this regard so that culprit may be brought to book.
