Induction Programme for freshers organized at CUJ

Jammu, Sept 19: A two day induction programme for fresher under graduate and post graduate students organised by the Department of Students' Welfare (DSW), Central University of Jammu for newly admitted students of the University today at Rajinder Singh Auditorium. On the first day of students' Induction Programme-2019, for Undergraduate Students, Vice Chancellor, Central University of Jammu, Prof Ashok Aima was Chief Guest. The programme started with Lightning of Lamp and Saraswati Vandanaand a folk dance by the students of the University. In his speech, Prof Aima while congratulating the students selected in the prestigious University, advised them to work hard in order to achieve success in life as there is no substitute of hard work and determination. The Vice Chancellor further said that there is no value for academic excellence without behavioural excellence and both are crucial to achieve excellence. Earlier, Dean Students Welfare, Prof. Deepak Pathania formally welcomed the gathering and also dwelt on the various aspects and salient features, central facilities and support system of the University. Registrar Dr. Ravi Kumar, Deans Prof. Devanand Padha Prof. Jaya Bhasin Prof. B.S. Bhau, I/C Proctor Dr Bachha Babu addressed the gathering. Prof. Manoj Mishra (Rashtirya Sanskrit Sansthan, Shri Ranbir Complex, Jammu) delivered lecturer on Talk on Stress Management. Prof. Kavita Suri (University of Jammu, Jammu) threw light on Talk on Gender Sensitization. Cultural event was presented by KV, CUJ and votes of thanks was presented Dr. Ajay K Singh.
