9/19/2019 10:46:24 PM
Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 19: Editor, Early Times, Munish Gupta, asked people to put their act together and join the caravan of change to get rid of the old system.
Carrying forward his mass contact programme in old Satwari Jammu cantt. Munish said, "Time has come for all of us to join the caravan of change. A few leaders can no more take us for a ride as we know the difference between the good and the bad."
"Dismal performance of our former representatives, who we voted for in droves in the past, have disappointed us. We have to come together and tell them that they can not befool us anymore," said Munish, who would be contesting the forthcoming Assembly elections as an independent candidate from Gandhi Nagar constituency.
He said, "I have joined the politics with only one intention i.e. to serve the people and help them overcome the difficulties they face in their day to day life. The areas which I have visited during the past four months present a gloomy picture. Residents have a common complaint that elected representatives after winning the elections just turn their backs towards the people."
Munish said, "Elections are knocking at our doors again but this time around situation is different. If we put our act together we can turn these polls into a historic opportunity to change the destiny of Jammu region. I need your support to put a new system at place."
