Army porter died due to electrocution

Kishtwar, Sept 21: In a tragic incident, 22 year old army porter identified as Azad Hussain son of Atta Mohammad Resident of Kulna Plamar in Kishtwar District died due to electrocution while unloading iron roads at Patimhala area, some 35 KM from Kishtwar.
As per the details available with "Early Times", the incident took place at around 5.45 PM when the deceased was unloading building material for the construction of his home when suddenly one of the iron rods came into contact with High Tension wire passing through the area and his father who was also present at the spot immediately rush him to nearby health center from where he was taken to nearby 11 RR army headquater at Banderkoot where the doctors tried to review him and give some medical aid to him before troops of 11 RR shifted him to District Hospital Kishtwar in his own ambulance where doctors declared him as brought dead.
The deceased remain associated with Hyderabad based 17 army JKLI and had return home on leave only few days ago. The matter was immediately brought into the notice of Kishtwar police who started investigation U/S 174 Cr.Pc beside shifted the dead body to Hospital Mortuary which will be released to the family members for burial after conducting the autopsy.
