| DC Leh inspects development works | | |  Early Times Report
LEH, Sept 21: Deputy Commissioner Leh today visited Khaltse and Saspol to take stock of various ongoing development works in these areas.
The DC also inspected residential hostel at Khaltse where renovation of school roof, building of toilets and other related things were brought into his notice. The DC assured the Principal that all of their issues will be addressed on priority.
"Provisions are being made to include all residential hostels of the district under Eklavya GoI scheme which will ensure greater infrastructure development and staff strength for the hostels," the DC added. He also directed SDM and Officer-in-charge Police Post Khaltse to initiate an anti-encroachment drive to streamline traffic in the market area of Khaltse.
He instructed SDM to conduct a tour of his sub-division to get a first-hand information of the basic amenities and shortages of essential services viz electricity, drinking water, road connectivity, medical facilities and food grains, etc for immediate redressal. |
