Jammu, Sept 21: In a major and biggest crackdown on Lashker e Toiba and Hizb Militant outfit in Kishtwar District since the onset of the militancy three decades ago, the security forces in Kishtwar District has so far manage to break the backbone of anti national elements who were providing logistic and moral support to both the banned militant outfits who are jointly working after suffering huge losses in "Army's Operation Allout" in Kashmir valley.
As per the details available with "Early Times", the massive Search and Cordon Operation (CASO) is still continue in various parts of Kishtwar District, particularly in the peripheral areas to Kishtwar town where the militants has established its safe hideouts and as per the reports the various security agencies who are tirelessly working together under one command had so far achieved major success in denting the OGW network who are directly or indirectly involved in helping the militants either through logistic support or by way of financial support.
The sources said that more than 50 suspects has been questioned by the police and security forces in connection with the ongoing probe into the weapon snatching and hostage crises at the residence of PDP District President Kishtwar Advocate Sheikh Nasir Hussain. The sources said that over two dozen persons were directly or indirectly found involved in promoting and abetting terror in Kishtwar District that witnessed four major terror incidents including the killing of BJP leader Anil Parihar, his brother Ajeet Parihar, RSS leader Chanderkant Sharma, his PSO Rajinder Kumar beside two other incident of weapon snatching in less than one year.
The sources said that police are collecting key evidences against the high profile OGWs who were helping the militants so that a water tight case could be prepared against them. Meanwhile several people who were detained by the police on the bases of suspicious had been released and handed over to their family members after nothing adverse found against them while few more suspects who were summoned by the security forces for questioning will be released either by today evening or in the morning.
