Display Your Talent-2019: fine-arts activities held

Jammu, Sept. 21: The seventh day of ongoing 'RangTrang-Display Your Talent-2019' organized by the Department of Students Welfare, University of Jammu, was dedicated to fine-arts activities.
Poster Making, and Cartooning events were conducted at the Seminar Hall of the Department of Environmental Studies, University of Jammu. In Poster Making, Adeep Bhougal from Institute of Music and Fine Arts stood First. Shivika from The Law School, JU secured the Second position and Meghavika from MIER stood Third. Certificates of Merit were awarded to Urja Zutshi from GMC, Jammu, Priya Sharma from IMFA, Shrishti Koul from the Department of Chemistry, JU and Mohinder from the Department of EVS, JU. Dr. Bindu Sangra was the Teacher Incharge of the event.
In Cartooning, Meenakshi Kumari from Institute of Music and Fine Arts, Nitika Abrol from The Law School, JU and Urja Zutshi from GMC, Jammu secured First, Second and Third positions. Certificates of Merit were awarded to Pranav Shivgotra and Ragini Dutt Sharma both from GCET. Dr. Harleen Kaur was the Teacher Incharge of the event.
Prof. Jasbir Singh, Dean Students Welfare along-with Prof. Anupama Vohra, Co-Chairperson Campus Cultural Committee and Judges of the events, Manoj Chopra, Chander Shekhar and Sh. Suresh Sharma distributed mementos amongst the winners.
The events were coordinated Mansi Mantoo (Media Officer), Sumeet Sharma (Drama Instructor) and Ifra Kak (Cultural Officer). Mehul, Vaishali, Anup, Sahil, Meenakshi, Shahraza, Ajay, Vrinda and Alisha managed the events.
On 22 September, three events; Painting, Photography and Collage would be conducted at different venues at University of Jammu from 10:00 am onwards.
