Jammu, Sept 22: The State Vice President of National Student's Union of India (NSUI) Mehran Anjum Mir today said in a press statement that the revocation of article 370 and 35A and therefore, complete integration of J&K with India is the true honour to sacrifices given by the true nationalist leaders like Shyama Prasad Mukhherji. Mehran said that he always stood against those leaders who compromised with the national Interest for their short term, personal benefits and strongly asserted that, "Ek desh mein do Vidhan, do Pradhan aur do Nishan nahi challenge". Also, Mehran said that apart from the national insecurity, these provisions even gave birth to separatism, terrorism and corruption which resulted in nepotism and favouritism. Further Mehran said that now, abrogation of these articles brought not only national integration but also will pave way for various constitutional benefits and centrally sponsored schemes for the poor, marginalized and downtrodden communities of J&K. Also, Mehran added it's now likely that SRO 202 will automatically get dissolved and thus bring justice to highly qualified youth who were paid just a few pennies in the name of salary. Accountability and transparency will ensure that only merit prevails instead of flawed and corrupt recruitments.
