| UDC demands implementation of SRO 317 | | | Early Times Report
UDHAMPUR, Sept 22: Udhampur Development Council (UDC) has asked the state government to make Udhampur Development Authority's (UDA's) functioning in a proper manner, which was earlier constituted vide SRO-317 dated July 3, 2013. Addressing the media persons, Anil Paba, a social activist and president UDC said that till date nothing has been done to make it functional by the Housing and Urban Development Department of Jammu and Kashmir with the result the Udhampur Master Plan the dead line of which is 2031 and its proper/planned implementation has remained the dreams of the residents of Udhampur adding that any delay will result in losses for Udhampur as it would not be able to get the benefit of funds provided by the Central government for Development Authority. He appealed the Governor to redress the genuine grievances of Udhampur and make the Udhampur Development Authority (UDA) properly functional and implement the Udhampur Master Plan so that the development of Udhampur town can be done in a planned manner. |
