Kho Kho team of GDC Kathua felicitated

Kathua, Sept 23: The Kho-Kho men team of Government Degree College (GDC) Kathua was today felicitated for their outstanding win in the finals of the Inter-collegiate tournament organized by Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu.
In the finals, GDC Kathua defeated GDC Samba by 10-04 (Points). Arjun Kumar, Pushpinder Singh, Danesh Rasgotra, Robin Singh, Ankush Jasrotia, Sanjeev Kumar, Sourav Bhadwal, Shidhant, Ajay Kumar, Jasbir Kumar, Pawan Singh, Rajinder Singh were the members of the Intercollegiate Kho-Kho Men Team who participated in the Tournament. Principal of the college , Prof. Assa Ram Sharma congratulated the members of the winning team for their performance in the Kho Kho Tournament. He said that the students of the college are showing excellent results in academics, NCC, NSS and games and Sports.
He also applauded the efforts of college Physical Directorate Dr. Balbinder Singh and college Sports Board in providing all the facilities to the players of various teams of the college. Also present on this occasion were members of college Sports Board Prof. Sumnesh Jasrotia, Dr. Sumit Dubey, Dr. Kehar Singh, Dr. Balbinder Singh, Dr. Rachna Devi, Dr. Verinder Singh, Shekhar Rania were also present. Ashok Kumar was In charge of the Kho Kho team.
