Jammu, Sept 23: A awareness camp was organised at Govt High School SherGarh Panchyat Dharp Block Satwari.
The focus of the camp was awareness about no to single use plastic and collection and disposal of plastic waste.
Sarpanch Kashmir singh, Naib Sarpanch Parveen Kumar, Principal and staff of School, and large number of students were present on the occasion.
The students of the school presented skit, poem as well symposium about hazards of single use plastic and alternatives available for it.
Sarpanch Kashmir singh appreciated the students and congratulated staff for starting initiative of making cloth bags. He added let's pledge to make our Panchyat free from single use plastic. Principal Neena Gupta, Panch Suman Kumari also present on this occasion. |
