Jammu, Sept 23: Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) Sanksriti Cell today felicitated artists from Jammu region.
Programme was organized by BJP's Sanskriti Cell led by its State Convenor Bharat Bhushan Sharma at party headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, where the artists also mesmerized the audience with the glimpses of their performances.
Yudhvir Sethi, while felicitating the artists, thanked them for enriching the culture of Jammu with their valuable contributions in the field of various arts.
He said that the artists are the soldiers of history who give life to the centuries together.
Bharat Bhushan, told that keeping the main focus of the programme on Nationalism and Dogri, care has been taken to involve maximum number of artists who have contributed in the field. He said that many of these felicitated artists have contributed in their respective fields for decades together.
S. Varinderjit Singh, Baldev Singh Billawaria, Veenu Khanna, Rajni Sethi, Dr. Krishan Lal, Tilak Raj Gupta, Vinay Sharma, Narinder Singh, Bahadur Singh Manhas, Anil Masoom, Honey Singh Mehar, Mohan Lal Mistri and other prominent BJP leaders were present on the occasion. |
