Jammu, Sept 23: Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) has hailed the win of party in bi-elections held at Leh.
State General Secretary Yudhvir Sethi, while he congratulated all the BJP on the wonderful win of BJP in the bi-elections held at Leh and at the same time, taunted Congress for its miserable failure in the election.
He said that BJP has secured its firm place in the hearts of masses and the morale of BJP activists is so high that they are willing to serve the people selfless for centuries to come.
Yudhvir Sethi, flanked by BJP State Treasurer Prabhat Singh Jamwal and State Press Secretary Dr. Pardeep Mahotra was addressing media persons at party headquarter, Trikuta Nagar. Yudhvir Sethi, disclosed that BJP's candidate Stanzin Chospel Lawyer has won the Councillor election for Hill Development Council from 13-Martselang Constituency in a Bi-election. The seat had become vacant after the earlier Councilor Tsering Namgyal was elected as Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha) from Ladakh Parliamentary Constituency. Sethi, said that in the Bi-election, BJP candidate got maximum number of votes, while an independent candidate got 2nd position and Congress scored 3rd getting minimum number of votes.
